Alt-Ed-India and Taleemnet are jointly offering a postal
resource and library facility
operated from the Taleemnet office.
Membership
to the library is Rs 300/-
A postal service
advance of another Rs 300 is collected along with the membership.
The library
works as follows:
1) Rs
300 is the non-refundable deposit.
2) The
service advance of Rs 300 is credited to your name and used towards
photo copies of books (and postage) you wish to receive.
3) If you return books after use (in good condition) 50% of
the value will be credited to your service account.
The postal library has been started with books contributed
by Neti Shrinivasan and others. These books are either out of print
or difficult to source from the open market. Further donations of useful
books will be gratefully received - or we can copy and return them.
Members and
non-members are welcome to visit the library. You may need to email or call
before coming -
a) to receive directions for reaching there
b) to make sure some one is there to provide access to the books.
